Hoppy Easter 2017

Hoppy Easter everyone!

This year for Easter, we went to CiCi & PopPop's on Saturday.

While there, PopPop drove us over to Brooke's house on the golf cart

to visit her sheep.

Then we rode down to the farm at the end of mom & dad's road

and fed & pet their cows!

When we got back to mom & dad's, we ate lunch
& then the kids hunted for Easter eggs.

And Dash even found some!

Saturday night, the Easter Bunny came & left lots of goodies for the kids. Luckily, I remembered to leave a note letting him know we'd be at MawMaw & Granddaddy's for the night!

After the kids opened all their Easter gifts, we dyed eggs

ate lunch
and had another egg hunt.

It was a fun holiday weekend celebrating with our loved ones!

Easter with the Stricklands

The day before Easter, we went to the beach & then we stayed the night at my in laws house. And on Easter morning, even though we weren't at home, the Easter bunny was still able to track us down & fill up the kids' Easter baskets.

He left some Zootopia tsums for Addy

and some funko pops for Alex.
(If you don't have small children right now, it probably sounds like I'm speaking a foreign language with tsum & funko pops. Luckily the Easter bunny knows what all these things are!)

After the kids looked through their baskets,

they dyed some eggs using a tie-dye kit.

And they turned out really pretty!

Then we ate lunch with the family
(and with a funko pop)

and then had an Easter egg hunt.

Addy was excited because she got the golden egg with $5.00 in it.

And Alex was just excited for more candy!

After the egg hunt, we played a little cards before heading back home.

And that's how we spent our Easter!

Easter 2015

This year Easter was on April 5th.

But we celebrated at my parents' house on the 4th.

Mom & Dad had a memorial service to go to that afternoon so we had an Easter breakfast

with a yummy spread of food!

And the kids had bunny pancakes.

They turned out really cute!

After breakfast, the kids went outside & threw confetti eggs at each other.
They even threw some at Nick!

Sweet little Emery just wanted to play with the eggshells though.

And then they all hunted Easter eggs.

Well except for Hannah. She helped hide them.

And this guy showed up at Mom & Dad's too!

We left Mom & Dad's & went to Brooke's house for a little bit & the kids had a blast playing with their cousins!

Then we went back to Nick's parent's house & stayed the night there.
And luckily the Easter Bunny was able to track us down so that he could fill up the kids' Easter baskets!

He left them lots of good stuff.

And they loved it all!

Addy wanted pancakes for breakfast again, so I made these for her.

And then we had hamburgers for lunch.
It was raining outside so the kids & their cousins hunted eggs inside the house.
(But I guess I didn't get any pictures of any of that. Oh well!)

It was a nice Easter weekend with the all the family!

Easter 2014

Last Sunday was Easter.

The kids were out of school for Good Friday, so we spent the weekend at Nick's parents house. And even though the kids weren't at home, somehow the Easter Bunny still knew where to find them on Sunday morning!

The kids spent Easter morning dying eggs,

and playing with the Legos

and the kites that the Easter Bunny brought them.

And the afternoon eating

and hunting eggs with their cousins!

Look at these beautiful Strickland kids!
(I think that Jules & Addy look more like sisters than cousins!)

My parents were out of town for the weekend, so we did not spend Easter with them. But we did get to see all three of my sisters & their kiddos on Good Friday at an Easter party at Brooke's in laws' house.
While there, the kids hunted

and dyed Easter eggs.

Addy was so excited to see her baby cousin Emery. She wanted to hold her & give her a bottle.

And on the Wednesday before Easter, Alex had a class party & parade at school.

All the kids were supposed to make a hat to wear in their Easter parade.
Here's what Alex & I came up with!

I hope everyone had as great an Easter as we did!
