Merry Christmas 2015

Just as always, we had a wonderful Christmas.

Luckily, I left my phone in the living room on Christmas Eve night & was able to capture a video of Santa dropping off a few gifts for the kids.

And another one of him eating the cookies that Addy & Alex left for him :)

As you can see, the kids were super excited when they woke up in the morning!

We spent all morning opening & playing with gifts.

Addy got a furby that she just loves! She already knew exactly how to interact with it, including singing & rocking it to sleep.

Dash, on the other hand, was not a fan of the furby. He kept smelling it & barking at it! Lol

A little later that afternoon, we drove back home to spend Christmas with my family.

I just love when we all get together. There's like a million of us & it's so loud & crazy! But again, I just LOVE it!

On the 26th, we celebrated Christmas with the Stricklands.

And Mr. & Mrs. Tackett :)

All the Strickland girls (plus one Tackett)

and all the Strickland boys (plus one Tackett)

And our crazy little family!
(AKA my favorite people & dog in the world!!!)

The next day, the 27th, we went to my aunt's house to celebrate Christmas with the Roeders.

It was great to see my PawPaw.

And my aunts & uncle & cousins.

And to see my kids playing with my cousin's kids the same way we used to play at their age.

And also to get to see my mini me again :)

We had a great few days visiting with all our family.
And as I said before, it was a wonderful Christmas!  We are truly blessed!

Christmas Activities 2015

We did several fun holiday activities leading up to Christmas...

The kids & I went to see Elf Jr. at Inspiration Stage. It was a super cute play with all child performers.

It was our first time to see a performance at Inspiration Stage but I'm sure it won't be our last!

The day after that, Addy & I went to see The Nutcracker on Ice at the Sugarland Ice Rink with our Girl Scout troop.

(It was so cold in the rink that Addy tried hot chocolate! She only drank a few sips, but at least she tried it.)

And afterwards, we went to the Teahouse in Sugarland where we ate tea cakes & the girls exchanged ornaments.

Addy ended up with this super cute doll ornament!

The kids had their school Christmas parties

and their Polar Express Pajama Day.

And on Christmas Eve, the kids & I whipped up some sugar cookie dough

and then brought it to the Gladhill's house & made cookies for Santa.
