Day 4 ... Hollywood Studios
January 22, 2014
Once again, we got to the park right as it was opening.
(That was pretty much our plan everyday.)
First thing we did was set up our Fast Pass Plus for the day and then we went to the restaurant Hollywood & Vine to have breakfast with the Disney Junior characters.
During breakfast, the kids got to meet Special Agent Oso
(He's oh so special!)
After breakfast, it was time to go and explore the park on this freezing cold morning.
We walked over to Sunset Boulevard and checked out the Tower of Terror & the Rock n Roller Coaster. But we decided they were definitely too scary for Alex. And Addy, being the sweet sister that she is, didn't want to ride anything without him. So instead, we headed over to the Echo Lake area & rode the Star Wars ride.
After that, we watched Muppet Vision 3D.
And then we met Phineas & Ferb.
And Lightning McQueen & Mater from Cars.
After that, we went in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground & let the kids run around & play for a while.
We got a quick bite to eat
And then used one of our fast passes to ride the Toy Story Midway Mania.
Then we met a Green Army Man from Toy Story
and Woody & Buzz Lightyear.
After that, we walked through Animation Gallery & saw some cool models of the parks. (The kids thought it was pretty cool to see the Dumbo ride & Goofy's Barnstormer since we had just ridden those the day before.)
And then we watched Disney Junior Live on Stage which was AWESOME!
Both kids absolutely loved it!
It was a puppet show that included the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gang
Sophia the First & her friends
Doc McStuffins & her pals
Jake & the Neverland Pirates
And even Sharky & Bones.
(My pictures from the show didn't turn out good because they ask you not to turn your flash on.)
When the show ended, Sophia the First was right outside, so the kids got to meet her.
And they got to see Jake one more time.
It was only about 4 oclock by that time, but we had pretty much done everything that we wanted to at Hollywood Studios.
So we decided to leave the park & go to the T Rex Restaurant at Downtown Disney for an early dinner.
There wasn't a whole lot for us to do at Hollywood Studios but what was there was awesome! Matter of fact, this ended up being Alex's favorite day. And I think mine too!

Handy Manny
June from The Little Einsteins
And Alex's absolute favorite, Jake the Neverland Pirate!
Not only did the characters come around to each table for pictures & autographs, but they also danced & preformed a couple of songs about every 15 or 20 minutes. And we had front row table! I couldn't get Addy or Alex to get up & dance with them, but they both really enjoyed watching them live.
(Oh and by the way, the breakfast buffet at Hollywood & Vine was really good too. Way better than the one we had at Akershus in Epcot. This place is a must if your kids are into Disney Junior.)
