Yo Gabba Gabba shirts

I thought I would do a quick post to show you just how easy it was to make our Yo Gabba Gabba shirts for the mud run. I started by buying the shirts. Nick wanted to be Brobee, Wayne decided on Muno & I chose Toodee. So that meant I needed to get one green, one red & one light blue shirt. Joann's had them on sale for $3 each so I spent $9.00. And that is all I spent! I had everything else at home that I needed.

I easily made a pattern by just looking at a picture online of each character & sketching their faces out on computer paper. I cut them out & traced the faces on to the shirt with a sharpie.

Once the faces had been traced, I painted each section. (I used regular acrylic paint because I already had it & I knew these shirts would get messed up. If you wanted to paint a shirt like this to keep, I would suggest you use fabric paint.)

I let them dry & painted a second & third coat. Then I let them dry overnight. And that's it! Super easy!!

Here are our shirts right before the race.
